Need to have vectors to get some decals printed. I've worked with vectors before (doing marketing materials for work), but just never had the patience to really figure it out until I wanted something to look really damn good.
I started with a shitty picture someone took of printed decal. After some tracing, and several hours of simplifying and removing paths that just weren't important, I finally managed to re-create this.
Gonna flip one on the Y axis for the driver's side, and have some fun.
Makes me wish I could get decent raised white letter tires for the wagon, but I've been finally nudged in the direction of Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval AS tires. They come strongly recommended by many other people with Magnums. I can handle that. I can even get a set for about $450 shipped.
If only the wheels were that easy to find. I'll have to go with the firehawks because I need the tires badly, and I just can't get the same positive feedback about anything else. Conti DWS tires are really recommended, but beyond my budget. In the effort of getting ready for more shows, I just have to make it happen.

Dumb question but what program did you make this in? I really respect graphic design and would love to dabble in it

this was done in Illustrator CS6, using a trace feature for up to 6 colors. Since dodge is bringing the Scat Pack back, they already re-vamped the logo, so I was able to work with that to get a decal just for me without their silly stuff around it.
